Patchwork

This past weekend I planned to sew these lovely fabrics together to create a colourful strip for the centre of a cushion. It didn't happen, they still look very much like this. I have used hexagons which I created the templates for here (a very very helpful site!) This is a very old form of patchwork (according to one site dating from 1813), known as English Paper Piecing.
