I spent some time looking lovingly at the images on Condé Nast - I have blogged about this lovely site before, but now we have moved, am more serious about what needs to be mine!

Across the Valley

This is our second to last morning in the house we built, and the valley turned on all charm possible. We are delighted that our lovely girls - Daisy and Hazel, the part-Jersey cows - will be staying with the property, and you can see them in the photos, grazing away happily.

As an aside, this is the most impressive the dam has looked in the entire time we have lived here - it is simply massive!

I will really miss this place.

Moss

While searching for inspiration in naming my new moss quartz bracelet, I found this amazing creation on a design site called Coroflot.

The designer - La Chanh Nguyen - describes his living creation:

"This bathroom carpet is made of imputrescible foam called plastazote. Each cell welcomes a piece of moss (ball moss, Island moss, forest moss). The humidity of the bathroom and the drops flowing from the body, water the mosses. This vegetable carpet procures a great feeling to your feet."

An aside - I decided to go with "In a Forest" for my moss quartz bracelet.
