Pearls of Wisdom

I was very excited to receive some encouragement a couple of nights ago...while in the bath! A lovely bathbomb from Lush held within it a little folded paper, with "Slip seven times, stand up eight times". This was revealed as the bathbomb dissolved...genius!

Weekend Footy

During Autumn/Winter both my boys play Aussie Rules for local club Kangarilla. This weekend Jacob had the opportunity to play mini-league for the Panthers - a club in the South Australian competition SANFL.

While Jacob was excited to play for the Panthers, William entertained me, himself, and some bemused spectators by practicing his rather spectacular faces.

Jacob's team won, and despite the miserable weather, we all had a great day!

Feeding the ducks

Leon, the boys and I went to Wittunga Botanic Gardens over the weekend and fed the sweet ducks. We had so much fun that we want to go again next weekend!

So happy with this capture - I need to investigate the kind of flower this is next time we are there, but it's my guess it's a waratah or protea of some kind - so lovely!
